Homework

• Spellings and Number Facts are to be learnt on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday evenings.
• All Spellings and Number Facts for the week to be revised on Thursday to prepare for Friday test.
• A written numeracy or literacy homework will be set each day, Monday - Thursday. They are to be returned the following day.
• Pupils should read at home every single day.
• Reading Groups - The book / pages to be read for the following week will be recorded in your homework diary.
• Additional Reading - Pupils have independent reading time every day in school. They are encouraged to select a book from the classroom AR library. They can then complete a quiz to test how well they read the book. Books can be brought home, and quizzes completed at home, for extra reading practice.

Important Dates

• Swimming is on a Tuesday. Everyone must bring a swimming costume, towel, swimming cap and goggles. 
• PE is on a Thursday. Children must wear appropriate uniform and footwear.
